2. Legal framework

This policy is designed to comply with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Lei nº 13.709/2018) and, where applicable, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Personal data is processed only on a lawful basis: contract performance, legitimate interest, legal obligation or your explicit consent.

3. Data we collect

We collect only what is needed to provide our educational services:

• Email address — to contact you and manage your access.
• Discord handle — to grant and manage private community access.
• Application details — goals, current level and any context you choose to share.
• Mentorship content — gameplay clips, logs and notes you submit during sessions.
• Billing data — invoice references and payment status (processed by Stripe).
• Basic analytics — anonymized page visits, device type and traffic source.

4. How we use data

We use your data to review applications, deliver mentoring sessions, manage Discord community access, respond to inquiries, issue invoices and improve our educational content. We send transactional and operational emails related to your membership.

5. Communication channels (email and Discord)

Most communication with members happens by email and through our private Discord server. Messages, profile information and activity inside the Player 2 Discord server are subject to Discord's own privacy policy. We use Discord only as a delivery channel for our community experience.

6. Payment processing (Stripe)

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments. When you pay an invoice, the relevant billing data (name, email, billing country, card data) is collected and processed directly by Stripe under its own privacy policy. Player 2 does not store or have access to your full card details — we only receive the invoice metadata necessary to confirm payment.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses minimal cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic patterns and improve the site. We do not use cookies for advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking. Essential cookies may be set for session and security purposes.

8. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Limited data may be shared with service providers strictly necessary to operate the company (e.g. Discord, email providers, Stripe), each under appropriate confidentiality and data protection terms.

9. International transfers

Some of our service providers (such as Stripe and Discord) are based outside Brazil. When personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on adequate safeguards permitted by the LGPD and GDPR, including standard contractual clauses and equivalent mechanisms.

10. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as needed to provide the services, comply with legal obligations (including tax and accounting), resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.

11. Your rights
